Maths
This week we learnt about capacity and volume. We had a go and making our cups full, empty, nearly empty, nearly full and half full.
English
We started to work on the Gingerbread Man! We really enjoyed joining in with the, "Run, run as fast as you can..." part.
Topic
We followed a route around our school to create a journey stick looking for signs of the seasons. We used what we had collected to decide that it was spring. We thought about what our favourite seasons were and why.
Science
This half term we are looking at plants. We learnt about the different parts of a plant and what their function (job) is.
Computing
This half term we will be writing and illustrating an e-book of The Gingerbread Man. This week we learnt how to log on to Purple Mash and created our front covers.
