Maths
This week we have continued our focus on the value of numbers and using mathematical vocabulary to compare. We also looked at the position of numbers on an empty number line and found where numbers would be placed.
English
Our English this week has focused on a story called ‘Cat and Dog in a Mess’. The children have enjoyed this story and have really been trying to use their Fred fingers to spell words.
Topic
In topic this week we looked at changes over time, our focus was on the school grounds and when the school was built. We found out our school was built before the park using aerial views of the school when it was getting built.
Science
This week we have explored the properties of materials focusing on bendy. We did an investigation to find out which materials were bendy and which were not.
Computing
Our focus on algorithms has continued. This week we wrote an algorithm for sharing.
