Maths
This week we have started to learn our numbers to 20. We have practised counting out to these numbers, looking at their tens and ones and their number names. We need to be confident counting to 20 forwards and backwards from any number.
English
This week we have focused on The Snowman and The Snowdog (this is also available on channel 4 on demand if you want to enjoy it at home). We used these ideas to innovate the snowman story to change it to the snowdog story. We thought about what adjectives we could use to describe the snowdog.
Science
Our focus on seasons this week we looked at different things to represent each season. We looked at the weather types, what we celebrate, how we dress and what happens in each season.
Topic
In topic this week, we worked in pairs to practise drawing a map of Montrose Avenue. We were brilliant at taking turns and working together to complete the map.
