What happened to the snow?!
Maths
In maths this week we have been practising subtracting using counters and a numberline. We are getting to be experts at spotting if a number sentence is an add or a subtract too! Today we looked at the days of the week and tried to sequence them in order. We found using the words yesterday and tomorrow a little bit confusing so it will help us if you have some, today is _____ what day is it tomorrow/was it yesterday? at home.
English
Our English this week has focused on Jack and the Beanstalk. We really enjoyed retelling the 'Fee Fi Fo Fum' parts in our best giant voices. We have tried our best to retell a simplified version of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Topic
In topic this week we made and enjoyed our sandwiches that we designed last week! Some of us had excellent sandwich making skills! It was interesting to see the amounts of butter and tuna that was spread on the sandwiches!!
PSHE
THis week is children's mental health week so we have been learning about how good feeling proud of ourself feels and enjoying those moments.
