Hello and welcome back to another year 4 blog!
In maths this week, we have been adding decimals to make a whole. A whole is 10/10 or 100/100. So for example 0.92 + 0.08 would = 100/100 or 1 whole . Have a go at the link below which will take you to an online worksheet.

In writing, we have moved on to our new Talk For Write topic, which is around 'Explanations'. We have started this week by looking at the Teacher Pleaser Machine! After reading it, it is something that all teachers think we should have. 
In Geography, we have been looking at Deforestation and the impact this specifically has on the Amazon Rainforest! We discussed and made arguments for why deforestation can be a positive but why it mostly is a negative! We made our own pledges on small things we can do in order to help the rainforest.
In Outdoor learning club, the children absolute loved making den building (as did the grown ups) ! We haven't quite finished them yet, so pictures will follow when it has!
