Friday 10th November

Hello again and welcome back to 4F's blog of the week.  We have had another very busy week in school...

In maths, we have been learning to add and subtract 4 digit numbers. We needed to carry and exchange, this means where you cross the boundary and need to add or subtract from the next place value column. Have a go at the game below.

In English, we have been looking at two new characters from a song called 'Josepi'. It is about a man named Joseph who left his wife to go to the war and how they miss each other greatly. In the end the two are reunited. We wrote some beautiful pieces of writing about the two characters.

In History, we looked into the daily life of Ancient Egyptians. Did you know that the Pyramids of Giza are one of the Wonders of the World? Have a look at the BBC bitesize and have a play at the quizzes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zg87xnb/articles/zqmyydm

Next weeks spellings are 'add suffixes beginning with vowel letters to words of one or more syllable'

1) Forgetting

2) Preferred

3) Listening

4) Covered

5) Gardening

6) Limited

7) Developed

8) Adoring

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and I will see you all on Monday.
