Friday 12th December

Hello and welcome back!

Well even though we have had a shorter week than usual this week, we have still been very busy!

In English we have been writing a fairy tale all about the adventures of a lonely sprout desperately trying to find a friend. He has so many people telling him that no one likes sprouts but as with all fairy tales, there is bound to be a happy ending!

We have continued work on fractions in maths and have looked at dividing them and multiplying mixed number fractions by whole numbers.

In geography we have been applying our knowledge of longitude and latitude to help Santa find his way around the world on Christmas Eve. We also had to work out the different time zones to make sure everyone got their presents delivered!

The children looked fab in their Christams jumpers today - thank you for your continued support!

Have a great weekend.

Love from Mrs Parry & Mrs Melling xx
