Maths - This week the children have continued their work on rounding numbers.
English - The children have begun a new Talk for Writing topic. They have looked at a non-chronological (not in time order) report all about Space School. They will be writing their own report all about life on Pandora, where the film Avatar is set.
Our certificate winner this week is Mason for being Mr. Reliable. He can always be relied upon to help his peers, do the right thing and help teachers in the classroom. He is a FANTASTIC role model. He was also selected Upper Phase Pupil of the Week and gets to keep the trophy for the next week. A BIG well done to Mason from all his Y5 classmates and teachers.
Also, from Pod 2, Finley was chosen as a certificate winner as well. He won for arriving on time to school with a big smile on his face everyday this week. He has blown them away with his attitude, keep it up Finley.
