Friday 13th October

This week in pre-school we have been learning all about the rhyme 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes'

We sang the rhyme three ways- stood up, sat down and with a partner!

In group times we thought about the different parts of our bodies and how we use them.

We had a smell and taste test (nose and mouth)

We played instruments loudly, quietly, fast and slowly then stoppped when we saw the STOP sign (eyes and ears)

We passed teddy round the circle using our toes! (toes)

.......and we used different coloured cellophane to look atr the world around us.

In the continuous provision we have been busy developing our shoulder muscles with the bat and ball game

We also really enjoyed the cookie shop!   We used the till to take pennies from our friends and counted down from 5 to 0 cookies in the shop!

Well done to all of our 'Star Of The Days' this week
