Friday 15th November

Hello and welcome back to our blog.

We hope that you've all had a good week and managed to keep dry!!

In year 6, we have had a great week - we have done some fantastic reading and are loving our new class novel - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Yesterday, we started to write a monologue - Edmund's monologue - describing his thoughts and feelings as he knowingly betrayed his siblings. We had some great effort put into it.

In maths we started fractions. Now, fractions are always a tricky concept, particularly when we start to order and compare, but they really tried hard with it.

We learned all about Tokyo in geography and wrote a post card home telling all about the places we could visit.

Have a great weekend and we will see you on Monday.

Love from

Mrs Parry & Mrs Melling xx
