Friday 16th February

Hello and welcome to year 4's last blog of the half term, hasn't this one flown by?!

The children have had another fun, yet busy week.

In maths, we have been dividing 2 and 3 digit numbers by using the bus stop method. https://ictgames.com/mobilePage/shortDivision/index.html

Just a reminder for lots of practice of Times table Rockstars at home please. The faster the children can get at answering the multiplication questions, the better!

In English, we have wrote a newspaper report about an American kayaker called Tyler Bradt, he broke the world record when he kayaked down Palouse Falls, in Washington. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uNXh9gXDd2Y

In art, we have finished our water colour river pictures. We have been building up to our final piece over the past few weeks.

When we come back in after the half term, spelling tests will be any bronze or silver words that the children may not have achieved yet, then hopefully by the end of the first week, we will have lots of children achieving their badges.
