Friday 17th March

This week we have learned more about Anderson shelters.  We investigated the shape of the shelters and discovered that a curved shape can withstand more force than a flat shape.  We then investigated how to make the strongest bridge from a single sheet of paper and found out that creating a concertina fold resulted in the strongest bridge.  This is because triangles are the strongest shape when building.  We are going to use this knowledge when we make our model Anderson shelters.
