This week in pre-school, we have been learning about the book 'Going on a Bear Hunt'
The children had lots of opportunities in the classroom to explore the different textures of natural materials from the book and used creative media to represent their ideas.
We also used the text to support our learning in Maths
When we read the book, we predicted why the bear may be chasing the family back to their home. Two reasons were very popular, either he wanted to play a game with them or he was hungry! We think we found out the answer as we were going to get ready for dinner!
Friday was a charitable day. We dressed in our own clothes, made biscuits and raised £26.72 for Children In Need.
