Hello and welcome back to 4F's blog of the week.
In maths, we started the week looking at using rounding to estimate answers to addition and subtraction questions. Next week, we will be moving on to finding the area of shapes.
In writing, we have started to look at our new character, who is called Derek Drew. He is from a poem called Please Mrs Butler. We had a visitor in school this week, a lady called Charlotte who is from Mindful Events. She taught us all about what Mindfulness means and how we can be mindful ourselves. The children learnt exercises on how to take time and be mindful. For example using their hands to inhale and exhale.
