Congratulations to Alfie P for receiving the achievement award this week for a huge improvement in his writing.
In English this week we have continued with the Detective Dog story and produces some excellent versions of the story using story teller language.
We have been learning about time in Maths and have been practising telling the time to o'clock and half past. We need to know this by the end of year 1 so we would really benefit from lots of practise at home.
We have been continuing to learn about different animal groups. This week we focused on Mammals, Amphibians and Fish. We have found out lots of information about these groups of animals and sorted them into their groups.
This week we enjoyed a walk to Marsh Green library and found out about how the library can help us. The ladies working in the library were really kind and helpful and gave us lots of information about the library. We said a huge, "Thank you!" as we left!
Enjoy your weekend,
Lots of Love,
Miss Rose, Mrs Folksman and Mrs Grimes
Please try to support our School Choir Coffee Morning on Wednesday. Check out the details below.
Finally, have your say. Each week you will have a chance to decide on which new song we will learn in next week's whole school assembly. Click on the link below to take part in an online vote. (Note -this is carried from last week's choices.)
