My Body Parts Poem
What colour are your eyes?
How do you feel?
What colour is your hair?
How do you feel?
Is your heart marvelously pumping?
How do you feel?
Do you have knobbly knees?
How do you feel?
And is your brain working well?
How do you feel?
Legs
Legs legs what do they do?
They jump and skip and maybe kick too.
They move and dance, stretch and shrink
But never touch the sink.
They can run very slow
And they don't blow
Legs legs legs legs!
They are fantastic
Just like you!
Poetry Visit
We capped off our week with a fantastic visit from Andy Tooze 'the poet from the Peaks'.
Andy read some of his poems during assembly and then delivered a poetry workshop to the children. We all thoroughly enjoyed his visit.
