Whoever said maths isn't fun? Well, in Y6F it is. This week we have been learning how to calculate area and perimeter and have put it to practical use. The children were given the hypothetical task of working out how much it would cost to re-surface our outdoor MUGA and replace its fencing (its area and perimeter and perimeter needed calculating to enable this. of course). Y6 had great fun using trundle wheels to measure the dimensions of the MUGA. Take a look!
