Friday 20th April

Well done to Maddison for getting our achievement certificate for an outstanding start back after the Easter holidays.  Maddison is a role model in our class and always an outstanding example of good behaviour.

English.

In English, we have been reading the story of 'The Detective Dog.'  We have visited places around our school and looked at the things Detective Dog might see.  We have used an sentences and exclamation sentences to describe Detective Dog, Nell.

Maths

In Maths, we have been learning about capacity.  We have been measuring the capacity of different containers using standard and non-standard units.

Science

In Science, we are learning about animals including humans.  We learnt that we have 5 senses: sight, touch, hearing, taste and smell.

Topic

In topic, we have been learning about People who help us.  We have been designing emergency vehicles using a design criteria.

We have also visited the life education van this week.  We met Harold, the giraffe, and discussed healthy foods and how to keep our bodies healthy and fit.

Have a lovely weekend.
