Hello again,
Phew, what a week it's been in more ways then one!
The children have been busy as usual; one of their tasks has been to make a picture book that retells a Mayan creation myth. The challenge was to re-tell it while making it suitable for a younger (Y2) reader.

We have also studied the Mayan's unusual number system that was very unlike our decimal one. We will have another look soon and will create 3d versions using natural materials. Do you think you'll be able to work out their system?
