It was great to welcome all the parents who dropped in this week to play with the class's electronic quiz games. You showed great interest and the children could be seen to be thrilled with the support. If you weren't able to attend, here are pictures of all the game boards. They are just great!
It's been a long but rewarding term; lots of progress has already been made but there will be a huge push next term in readiness for SATS in May. We are confident that all children will be in a good position to do themselves proud.
Most children will be coming home with a Christmas holiday reading text (Oliver Twist). A few have been asked to pass their copies on to nearby friends as we were a few short. Please ensure your children read the book and encourage them to check any words/phrases they are unsure of with yourselves. We will be doing follow up work in the new term.
