This week in pre-school we have been learning about the colour monster.

We thought about times we have felt like the colour monster in different parts of the story and talked about how we sorted our feelings and who helped us to do that.
We had opportunites within the continuous provision to explore the story and help the colour monster.
We looked at pictures of ourselves and took selfies thinking about how we felt in those pictures.
We also enjoyed some enhancements in the continuous provision. The children had enjoyed building with the foam bricks last week, so we introduced shaving foam to help the bricks stick together
We also explored capital letters which are found at the beginning of our names. Some children can identify their letter and had a go at writing them
