Welcome back to our blog. We hope you all had a lovely Easter break and enjoyed the fabulous weather we had!
Well in 6W we have been hard at it - even though it has been a shorter week! In English we have worked on the book that was sent home over Easter, Why the Whales Came and have done lots of work around reading and grammar. In class, we have also started a new book, The Island at the End of Everything, which we are totally hooked on already!
In maths we have been learning about circles and also calculating the mean average, as well as revising prime numbers and factors!
We started our new topic on the Myans this week which I know the children are going to love!
Well done to all the children who came to do breakfast maths, we will continue this each Wednesday and Thursday for the next two weeks.
