Following last weeks design and technology challenge we discussed why some groups were successful and others structures failed.
We when discussed how you can make paper stronger, stiffer and more stable. We practiced the skills in order to do this. We joined paper together, rolled paper into tight tubes an folded paper.
After practising the skills we had presented the same challenge again to the teams. The children thought about their structures in more detail and considered which technique would be best to make a successful structure.
