We have continued our history topic The Battle of Britain, and this week we have focused on the experience of children who were evacuated during the war and sent to live in the safer towns and villages in the countryside. We have also learned about the Kindertransport, as one of the characters in our class novel (Letters from the Lighthouse) came to England through the Kindertransport program.
