Here are the highlights from the week.
In English we have learnt a description of the Gruffalo. We used a 'story map' with pictures and actions to help us remember the sentences. This then helped us to write our description of the Gruffalo by following the learnt model.
In Maths we have continued looking at comparing numbers using the symbols < > and = we remembered which symbol to use by comparing the symbols to a crocodile mouth and as crocodiles are greedy they always eat the biggest number.
For example
5 < 10 4 > 2
Lots of the class are reading regularly at home. This is fantastic as this will help your child to become more confident, fluent and develop their love for reading. Keep up the good work at home everyone!
