Friday 28th November

What a wonderful, hard working week we have had in 6W.

In Maths, we have been learning about angles, how to recognize different types and how to draw them with a protractor! Lot's more practise is required by all, but we will get there. This week has been Assessment week, so from Wednesday, the class have completed a S.A.T. paper - Mrs Evans and Mrs Melling appear pleased today, so all the signs are great.

In English, further work has been completed about our trip to Quarry Bank Mill last week, with comparisons made between Victorian mill workers and 21st Century kids. We all decided that it was better to be living in the 21st century.

Childline came to visit us this week, and chatted to Years 5 and 6 about keeping safe. Year 6 have designed posters which we will put up in our cloakroom, to remind us all of their details.

Congratulations to Tyrese - our 'Star of the Week'.

Have a happy, healthy and safe weekend.
