Welcome back to our blog, here's what this week has brought for 6W!
We must say that we are absolutely loving our class novel, Letters from the Lighthouse, and have spent our English lessons based upon that this week. We have also been learning the eight parts of speech and have used an octopus to help us with it - ask your children for further details!!
In maths we have been revising place value and having a reminder of addition and subtraction with a particular focus on mathematical language.
We carried out a couple of experiments in Science this week based on reflcetion and refraction.
Your children are loving our history topic this term. We have explored the kindertransport and what life must have been like as an evacuee.
