Friday 4th November 2016

Another busy first week of the new half term.

A special mention to all 4W for a superb week and a mature attitude to learning but particular congratulations this week go to Frank on receiving the class weekly award and trophy.

In English, we have been drafting and redrafting and working on improving our descriptive writing. We learned a lot about not giving up from a little boy called Austin.

We have also been learning multiplication and division in maths and have been practising hard to get our times tables bands. Bartek has achieved his... GOLD award already!! Go Bartek.

We have also enjoyed investigating arrays this week to help us with understanding our multiplication facts.

Year 4's Science Lesson Thursday 3rd November 2016
Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic and very messy science lesson this week. We were trying to find out what happened to cornflour when water was added to it. The result was amazing. The result was Oobleck. We discovered that it could be both a liquid AND a solid!!
