Maths
This week we have been great mathematicians, adding 3 digit numbers to a 1 digit number, pictorially and mentally. There has been much improvement in our daily 5 in 5, and Sophia won the estimation station.
English
Our week has been filled with pirates
and poems about them too
we wrote them neatly and read them aloud
using rhyming words that made our teacher proud
Science
We recapped the bones and joints and looked at why muscles are important and how we use them. We can also locate them on the body and know how to keep them healthy.
Topic (Geography)
Our designs are done and we have started to create the photo frames. This week we measured and cut the wood, ready for painting next week.
PE
Rugby has been the focus of this weeks lesson, looking at kicking skills..
