Welcome back!
Year 3F have enjoyed their first week back in school. We have had lots of fun this week in our new surroundings. Their have been lots of changes around school, the school is looking great!
We are on a bigger playground now, and we even have a new MUGA.
We have seen some friends leave, but we also have had new friends join. We spoke about friendships in our very first PSHE lesson. We had a discussion on how to be the best of friends.
Maths
In Maths this week, we have been learning about 2D and 3D shapes. We have learnt the names and the properties of lots of shapes. Some of us even went on 2D and 3D shape hunts.
A big WELL DONE to KJ for his super efforts and knowledge of 2D and 3D shapes.
English
In English this week we thought about and discussed what we did in the summer holidays. We wrote about these in lots of detail using adjectives, similes, adverbs and nouns. It was hard work!
It sounds like our friends have had a busy and fun filled summer holidays. It was great to find out what you have been up to!
Can I remind parents that P.E will be on a Tuesday afternoon!
We are looking forward to a fun filled second week in Year 3.
