Hello and welcome back to another year 4 blog! How fast has this week gone?
In maths this week, we have been focussing on our 3, 6 and 9 times tables. Please continue with lots of practise at him with your times tables.

In writing, we have been doing lots of work around newspaper reports and our writing. We have been looking at expanded noun phrases, storyboards, fronted adverbials and inverted commas. WOW! That is a lot. Next week we will be writing our own newpspaer reports about the discovery of Tutankahmun's tomb.
In science, we have made our very own switches, which worked when we tested them in a circuit. We see switches all the time without even realising it, for example turning on a light or turning our Christmas decorations on. The children had fun making them.
Next week spellings are words that end in the suffix 'ous'. Have a go at playing the game on the BBC bitesize website.
