Hello!!
It had been a shortened week but that does not mean we haven't worked super hard! We have completed our final practice papers and we are TOTALLY READY and feeling SUPER CONFIDENT!
As the year has progressed, year six have noticed how much better we are at tackling tricky questions and finally we believe Mrs France when she says the only thing that can make a difference to our scores is our PMA! (Positive Mental Attitude!)
Who would have thought that, sitting up straight, smiling, putting our 'blinkers' on and never giving up could boost out test scores so much??!!!
Although we agreed that it would be silly to have a day off on polling day, we were not so happy about wearing our school uniforms.
Therefore, we decided to write a persuasive letter to Mr Sherriff to see if he would agree to a non- uniform day!! Guess what? He was so impressed with our fantastic writing, he agreed!
So, our day in school, with no other pupils around felt quite different and we kept our promise to work our little socks off!!! Finally, we are on the cusp of SATs.
Early nights required next week so that we are bright and breezy!!
BRING IT ON!!!
