In English, we have been continuing our work on the Snail and the Whale. We have been using our descriptive toolkit, from describing the snail, to describe the whale. WE have thought of other words that mean the same as big and we have been learning how to join adjectives using 'and.'
In Maths, we have been using a tens frame to add two numbers together. We have been learning how to write a number sentence using + and = signs.
In Science, we have been learning about the 4 seasons and what the weather is like in each season.
On Wednesday, we really enjoyed our visit to the cinema. The children walked up to the cinema beautifully and were very polite and well mannered while we were there. They sat nicely and watched all 3 short films. It was a lovely morning out for us all.
