Friday 9th November

Hello and welcome back to our blog…

We had such a treat this week! We went to the cinema and watched a film called ‘Zoo’ and what a great film it was too! It was set in Belfast during WW2 so the children could really put the situation into context after spending time learning about WW2 over the past few weeks.

We have begun to look at the fantastic author, C S Lewis, this week in English and can you believe it – we have started yet another book!!! This time we are reading the wonderful, classic novel – The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

In maths, we have been working on fractions - equivalent fractions and ordering and comparing to be precise! It’s always a tricky concept and such a big area to cover so we will spend a bit of time on this.

Topic has been about major and capital cities and we have continued with circuits in science.

That’s it for now!

Have a good weekend and we will see you on Monday.

Love from Mrs Parry, Mrs Melling & Mr Jackson xx
