Week Beginning 28th November

IMPORTANT NOTICES -

  • from Friday 1st December you are more than welcome to send your children in Christmas tshirts/jumpers throughout December
  • We are holding 2 stay and play sessions through December you should of had a text confirming which day you are invited in with your child
  • Friday 22nd December is Christmas party day all children from the Sunflower room are invited, but the centre is only open from the hours of 9am-11:15am for all children. 
  • Nursery breaks up for Christmas on Friday 22nd December and will return Tuesday 9th January 2024. 

This week in the Sunflower room we have set up a dummy tree station, including bottle box and nappy basket👍 this is to help parents/guardians who would like help getting rid of their child’s dummy’s/bottles during the Christmas period. We really want to encourage getting rid of teeted baby bottles if your child still uses one as it can cause damage to their teeth and affect their speech and language. If you would like more information please don’t hesitate to speak to Traci or any member of the Sunflower team🌻

We have changed our role play area into a Christmas grotto, the children have enjoyed dressing up as reindeers, elves and Santa🎅🏻🧑🏻‍🎄🎄 they have enjoyed using the character masks and even helped put the decorations on the Christmas tree😊❤️

This week we have made christmas pictures and decorations and took them to the local care home for the elderly. The children was very confident in talking to them and and showing off their pictures😀 After this we enjoyed a frosty walk over the grass we heard it crunching under our feet, take a look..

Thursday 30th November😊

 

we have started Christmas activities this week and the children have really enjoyed it especially talking about Father Christmas and the presents they would like. We are looking forward in continuing with festive activities and turning our role play area into a santas grotto☺️
