Week Beginning 30th January

Here is an activity you can try at home with your child. See if they can recognise colours by asking "can you find the white sock" "can you find the blue sock". This also encourages the children to look for patterns and recognise which match. You can encourage language throughout this activity by counting, asking simple questions and using colours. Library session📖

Wednesday morning we took a trip down to the library in Marsh Green. The children was really confident in walking there and back and showed good can do attitudes in holding their “footstep friends” hands and listening to the instructions they was given like stopping at the roads to check if it was safe to cross over. We was super proud of them all👍

On Wednesday we was lucky enough to visit Fur Clempt next door to nursery. We met some farm animals organised by “My Life”. The children enjoyed listening to the different sounds they made and even got to touch some of them🐏🐐🐓🐇

After seeing the animals we had access to the mud kitchen which the children thoroughly enjoyed exploring😁

Thursday 1st February😁

Today we have enjoyed lots of ice play, in the morning we explored objects in ice that was frozen inside cups, the children enjoyed trying to rescue the bugs/animals from inside. In the afternoon we made ice paints, which the children enjoyed making marks with. They recognised the colours they was usingyes

Friday 2nd February😊
