In nursery we are implementing a word and number of the week, keep checking the blog for updates😁 this is to develop children’s understanding and concept of numbers. We sing 5 little ducks, 5 current buns and 5 cheeky monkeys. We encourage the children to use the word big in play so they can recognise big and small objects😁

Tuesday 31st October😁
Today we have enjoyed lots of Halloween activities, the children was so excited arriving to nursery in their Halloween costumes. Take a look..

🎃 Halloween Hunt - we hid spooky chocolate coins within the sunflower room and asked the children to find them, they was all really good and joined in finding the coins. They showed can do attitudes and listened well throughout, take a look🎃

Making firework snacks😁 the children enjoyed dipping their breadsticks into the chocolate and adding sprinkles onto them😊

We have been creating firework pictures and making yummy firework treats to eat, using our fine motor skills to sprinkle, sprinkles on to our chocolate breadsticks.
