Week Beginning 7th November
We are selling these festive friends at the nursery office, to help raise awareness and funds for Derian House. If you would like to see these speak to any of the staff or Vicky(centre manager).
🌻🌟 Sunflower Stars of the Week🌟🌻
We have welcomed 3 new children to the Sunflower room this week. They have settled in really well and enjoyed nursery life making new relationships with both staff and children
Our Number and word of the week is 1 & small. If you could use these at home in play that would be great. We would love to hear about it😁👍
In nursery we are encouraging the children to find and point out their body features. We can then talk about our senses and what we use to see, hear, smell, feel and taste with. We have a display to help their understanding, you can try this at home by singing head, shoulders, knees and toes or asking simple questions such as “can you find your nose” “can you find teddies eyes”.

This week we have focused our play around remembrance day and talked about the soldiers and poppies. We have had a couple of bus trips into wigan to lay down our poppy pictures which the children have thoroughly enjoyed😀 they was really well behaved on the bus and walking around. They showed can do attitudes and good listening skills, take a look..
