Week Ending 10th February
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week our text of the week was 'The Elves and the Shoemaker'. We have read lots of different versions of this text which have all been slightly different. We have accessed lots of activities this week relating to our text.
We used oil pastels to design our own shoes. We're sure the elves would love to sew these shoes up!
We completed an experiment where we looked at different materials to see which would be suitable for shoes. We made predictions before we put it to the test. We thought about how waterproof the material would be. Have a look at our experiment in action...
This week in Maths we have been making PAIRS! We played a game where we had to go and find our pair in the classroom.
We have been working on our number bonds to 5. Look at our AMAZING independent work.
