Week ending 15th December

Welcome to this weeks blog. This week we have been looking at the the text 'This zoo is not for you'. We have been finding out about animals that live in the zoo and using the internet to learn about animals, the main character in the story is a platypus so we used the internet and found out that a baby platypus is called a 'puggle'. We've had lots of other zoo animal activities going on in class.

In Maths this week we have been looking at the composition of numbers 4 and 5. We've been looking at one more and one less than a number. We've had lots of activities to find out about 4 and 5.

We've also been looking at 4 sided shapes, we did a shape hunt in school to spot rectangles and squares in the environment. We found loads!

We had lots of continuous provision activities to complete. We've been very busy.

We've had a very special week, we have performed our Nativity Play for our families. we really enjoyed singing, acting and dressing up. There are definitely future acting and singing superstars in our class.

We've had another very busy but fun week. Next week we will be doing lots of Maths and Literacy activities around the theme of Christmas. We are looking forward to our party on Tuesday afternoon.

Have a lovely weekend.
