This week we have been putting to good use our letter sound knowledge. We have been thinking about initial sounds in words and what they look like. Here we are exploring this in our provision.

We have also been thinking about developing our pencil grip and carefully and skilfully tracing over various shapes. Take a look at the precision we work with yes

We have also been developing our counting skills. We have been using the language of more and less, same as and matching numeral to quantity. What a lot of skills we have been focusing on smiley

One of this weeks highlights has without doubt been the Christmas Party. What a wonderful time we had dancing, singing, playing games and eating party food! Here we are enjoying the festivities

We even found tie to decorate a life size Christmas tree with lots of lovely decorations that have been kindly donated to us. Look at the fun we had smiley

And fin ally. Just to say I am so very proud of the children and their efforts this term. It's been a long one but they have undertaken everything with a smile on their faces and a positive attitude. We hope that you have an amazing Christmas and we will see you all in the New Year
