Week ending 22nd September
Hello and welcome back to our class blog. This week our text of the week has been 'Marvellous Me'.
We talked about all of the things we are MARVELLOUS at and we had some brilliant answers. We put all of our ideas onto paper, have a look at some of the things we came up with.
During our Phonics sessions we have been learning about blending sounds together to make words. Have a look at us using our magnetic boards to make words out of the sounds we already know!
In Maths this week we talked about matching. We found objects from the classroom and talked about how we knew if they matched or not. We also explored matching by colour, size alongside many other factors.
We have been using different media to practice writing our RWI sounds. We are making some wonderful progress with our phonics, our grown ups are so proud of us!
Next week, our text of the week is 'On the way home', a lovely story about a girl with a big imagination about her journey home. Have a listen to the story on YouTube.
