Hello and welcome back to this weeks class blog. This week we have explored some lovely learning activities linked to The Elves and the Shoemaker. Let's have a little look at this weeks provision
This week we have been thinking about the types of questions we could ask the characters form the story. Look at this wonderful writing
We have also been learning more about the different types of question words we can use to find out more information for example why, who, where, how? Look at the writing we produced
WE have also been writing book reviews. We talked about the characters, events and our favourite parts of the story. Look at our book reviews
In Maths this week we have been using the language of more and few than to create stem sentences. Look at the recordings we have made when we have been sharing our learning
We have also been learning about steps and how we can create towers of different numbers and how they look like steps. Take a look at the learning. Why not ask us about it at home?
We have also explored what happens when we add water to things, explored bubbles and balloons and been developing our precision when pouring. Look at the fun we have had
Next week we will be using the text The Runaway Pancake to help us with our learning. Listen to the story before hand on the link below....
