Week ending Friday 13th March
Hello and welcome back to our class blog.
This week we have continued with our story Supertato! We have loved the book and we have done so many activities that are linked to the stories.
We started off the week with a surprise letter from the Evil Pea in our story explaining that he had captured Supertato. The letter asked for the children to write back to the Evil Pea and ask him to let Supertato go. The children loved this and it really encouraged their writing. We are so proud of how far they have all come and excited they are to write.
We had a tricky funky finger challenge this week - we had to use our tweezers to get the right about of dried peas. This was so hard but we all persevered!
We've loved getting the painting our this week on the creative table. We've been painting the characters from our story. They were amazing and we love how they look on our new display.
Finally this week we got the Bee Bots and our mission was to direct it from Supertato to the Evil Pea. We love using technology in our classroom and this was such a fun activity for us.
As you can see we have had another lovely week.
Next week we are going to be learning all about the text Superdaisy and we've got lots planned. Please can we make sure all reading books are in for Monday with reading diaries signed so we can change all the books.
