Week ending Friday 5th November

Hello,

Welcome back to our class blog. We have had another brilliant week in reception and we have settled back brilliantly after our half term.

This week our text of the week was 'Jacob O'Reilly wants a pet'. We have really enjoyed this story and we have had a very busy week.

We have been working hard in continuous provision. We have been searching for animals using tweezers. This has been great to support our fine motor control. We have been using scissors to make our own pets and we have had our own pet shop in our classroom. During our text of the week we have also been ordering the story. This is something we have practiced every week and we are doing brilliantly. We work together with our friends to place pictures in order.

I think our favourite thing that we have done this week is go to the ALPS. We were so excited to go and we had the best time. We loved exploring, taking turns and working as a team. It was brilliant. We had a fantastic time and we are so excited to go back.

Thank you so much for bringing us wellies and coats.
