16/10/23

We have had a lovely week exploring all things Halloween related. We especially had an amazing time pumpkin 🎃 picking over on the ALPS (Adventure Learning Provision Space) this is located in the woodland area at the side of school.
After pumpkin picking we explored the area and found lots of little pictures of ghosts, pumpkins and witches and collected them in our buckets.

We did our very own pumpkin carving from a pumpkin we picked. We scooped out all the insides and explored how it felt. Take a look

We made witches 🧙‍♀️ potions, mixing up a spell with a range of different media.

We made spooky spider 🕷 pictures, using a toilet roll to print and Google eyes 👀

We explored jelly filled with spiders, we developed our fine motor skills by trying to pick up the spiders with the tweezers 🕷

We made spooky Halloween masks 🎃 👻

More Halloween fun 🎃

This week in the hall we developed our balancing skills.

Continuous provision….

This weeks story is ‘The dinosaur that pooped Daddy!’ Read by Vanessa
