6/11/23

This week we went on the bus to Wigan to visit the cenotaph and we put down some poppies. All the children really enjoyed this experience. We encouraged the children to say the word ‘cenotaph’ and talked about how big it was.

We also enjoyed doing poppy related activities.

Thank You to all the parents that have sent me your family photographs, we will be looking at these next week. If you haven’t yet sent them please send them via email to Toni.clarke@westfield.Wigan.sch.uk

We enjoyed making poppy biscuits.

We made our own poppies using red play dough and black buttons.

The children had lots of fun dancing with each other, they all got into a circle and held hands which they initiated themselves ❤️

Don’t forget to keep bringing your child’s loan library book 📚 the children really enjoy choosing their own books 📖

Continuous provision
