Reminder - nursery closes after session on Thursday 15th February and will reopen on Monday 26th February.
World Book Day - on Thursday 7th March we are celebrating world book day, we would love all children to come to nursery dressed as their favourite character and bring in their favourite story from home for us all to share in nursery 📚 📕 📖
If your child is not in on this day we would love your child to bring in their favourite book throughout the week to share with us.
This week we enjoyed tasting pancakes 🥞 the children chose what toppings they would like on from a choice of chocolate or jam and the children spread the topping on themselves. We also offered strawberries and blueberries to put on their pancakes.
The children made a pancake face, gluing and sticking food images to represent facial features.
We added pancake ingredients to the sensory tray for the children to explore. They enjoyed mixing and pouring the flour and milk.
Making pancakes with play dough, we added lemons and limes for the children to explore the scent and textures.
The children have enjoyed dressing up this week 😃
On Thursday we went for a walk to the pet shop. The children enjoyed looking at Guinea Pigs, rats , fish, crickets and locusts.
Hall time, the children enjoyed dancing and exploring hula hoops.
