Welcome back I hope you all had a lovely Easter break, all the children have settled back into nursery life well.

A warm welcome to all our new children who have stared visits this week they have all been amazing.

This week we have been reading books about feelings thinking about how we might feel in  certain situations. These books are 'Colour Monster' and 'Feelings'

We have also enjoyed doing some activities relating to spring.

We went for a spring walk, all the children had clipboards and pencils to mark off things they saw on their walk. The children really enjoyed this and they found everything on the list except for a nest.

The children painted blossom trees using cotton buds to create the small blossom petals.

Exploring the gardening sensory tray

Fishing game, the children used the fishing rods to try to catch the matching 🐠, they all really enjoyed this and did really well at matching patterns.

Hall time, we enjoyed moving around in different ways and balancing

Fun in the role play area, ‘I’m asleep’ ‘wake up wake up’.

The children have also enjoyed pretending to go shopping with baskets, tills and money.

Continuous provision
