Well that’s the end of another lovely week, this week we planned to go for a walk around the local environment to collect conkers to explore unfortunately the weather made this not possible as we have had so much rain ☔️ We will try again next week 🤞. But this didn’t stop us having fun we still enjoyed lots of different activities.

I hope you have all enjoyed sharing your loan library books with your children, don’t forget to return them at any time so your child can choose a new story to enjoy.

I love brushing my teeth....

This week we have started the Teeth brushing Scheme, the children bush their teeth for 2 minutes. We watch a song on you tube called Blippi toothbrushing song which lasts 2 minutes and shows the children how to brush their teeth 🦷

Maybe you could try this at home...

Self registration. The children have their very own bee and each morning we sing a welcome song to each child and they stick their bee on the board, they really enjoy doing this 😄

Every Tuesday morning we have use of the school hall to do a physical session. This week the children really wanted to just run around as it was a new environment to them and we did a little dancing. The children really enjoyed their time in the hall.

We have also started to do bucket time, this a time where we sit together and look at objects of interest, this will help your child with verbal and non-verbal communication and increase their vocabulary.

We have been learning our colours and matching Colour pictures onto the corresponding colour mats. The children did amazingly at this 😀

Free painting 🎨

We used cement (shaving foam and chocolate powder) to build a wall.
